In his words, it is more of Bujorian promoting himself, even when he has no clients to work for or ad space on Internet websites. “I think I want to start swaying away from Instagram but at the same time, it’s a great way to be anywhere in the world and showcase your work for anyone to see.”Īlthough sometimes Bujorian finds himself losing his own artwork in the endless selfies of Instagram, he does sometimes become a subject of his own artwork. It gets mixed in with selfies and everyday stuff,” Bujorian said. This can sometimes allow artwork to get lost in the mix although it still holds a showcase of everything on a limitless profile. It is a double-edged sword, as social media websites and apps, like Instagram, allow any user to post pictures. The fruits of this networking have allowed him to connect with Virgil Abloh (owner of Off-White clothing brand), rapper A$AP Nast, A$AP Bari (co-founder of VLONE streetwear brand), two-time Grammy Award winning producer S1 and rapper YehMe2. “Whether that’s family, friends, complete strangers, or someone in the distance… ultimately, people that do the right thing, even when no one’s looking, they’ll still continue to do the right thing.”Īs far as networking is concerned, Bujorian heavily uses social media to not only conduct business, but to network and connect with other like-minded individuals and artists. “I’m inspired by the people around me,” Bujorian said. Boasting an Instagram feed with 887 posts and 1,461 followers, Bujorian has spread his talent over an array of media including graphic design, print and photography. The photographer and artist, Clayborne Bujorian, applies these random acts of kindness that happen every day directly into his work. He is upset with himself that he missed the moment with his lens, but remains intrigued and channels this inspiration directly into his artwork later that day. Only to receive that smile and a nod in return.Ī lone photographer stands in the distance, inspired by this random act of kindness.

Standing there with the same fake smile that they utilize on their work shift, they beam in the direction of the old woman as they hold open the door for her. Once arriving and walking up, they open the door only to notice a small, hunched-over, elderly woman shuffling along about 20 feet behind them. One goes to a grocery store in the midst of their 10-hour work shift break to grab a snack.
